Hello!!
My name's Shawn and I'm from Ontario Canada. This isn't my first post but I'll still introduce myself. Some of you have already welcomed me and I thank you. :-D

I'm just starting out with nunchaku and I'm really excited to get going. I stumbled on this forum when I was reading about nunchaku. I've seen many videos of some of the people on here and I'm extremely impressed. I'm not oriented in any martial arts, so hopefully that doesn't hinder me too much in learning, although I'm TOO too out of shape :-P
So far all of of you seem really nice and I hope I can become as awesome as you all are  :lol:

Hi Shawn,

Welcome to the forum!

Your lack of martial arts training isn't necessarily a hindrance - this is a freestyle forum after all. I for one have no martial arts experience, but I'm one of the more experienced members with nunchaku. All it takes is enthusiasm, dedication and a bit of imagination.

I would write more, but I've got to shoot off to view a house.

I'm sure one of the guys will link you up with the tutorial board and my blog, both very useful for newbies.

Hey Shawn from Ontario, welcome to the forum....

I like your avatar there-Bruce doing the one inch ounch, when I saw the avatar I though you maybe do some MA..but it's ok, you will maybe start traiing something hanging out here with us....
