Just wanted to mention that IMO it`s quite wise to wear mouthguard when practicing some of the new tricks e.g. spins in front of your face and throws from behing your back to front. I have hit my nose once with the nunchuck so it`s really possible to hit your mouth area also. Anyway those mouthguards are really cheap (usually you can get normal ones with ~4 euros) so I would say it`s worth to buy/try.

just wanted to say that people should more reconsider foam chucks. Learn with foam, and record with real ones.

I really recommend a mouth guard.
I once got hit in the face with the nunchaku, I once broke off a piece of my teeth while eating fries. So you never know...
