After 2 months and some days I finally have my chucks!!!!

The chuck is made of Bocote wood and its 14" long and it tapers from 1" to 1" 1/4.

With the U-swivel connector with 6 chains.

The chucks are....I honestly don`t even have words for it I`ve seen so many reviews with possitive things and they were ALL right!!! I tried looking to see if there was ANY defect or anything at all like maybe the metal cap hurting the wood and nothing AT ALL. Its a bit heavier than I thought, but then again i`ve been using light chucks all this time.

I gotta get used to the longer lenght of chain, I was using like an inch or two of rope these days so yeah...But not an issue. '

The other thing was the customer service. I got to meet Colleen for the first time! The thing wass that there was a problem with the shipping and thats when I met her by phone. Great customer service REALLY friendly,  seriously it was like we were friends for a while. Atleast for me I felt that haha. She was really patient with the shipping problem so Thanks Colleen for that haha. And like I said, really great service.

Ima post some pictures for you guys to see

Let me know if you guys want more pics  :-)  Really happy with them.

Thanks alot Collen and Bill  :-D  :respect:

Dahm! Those are sweet! I love the wood figuring on those, and they look HUGE at 14 inches! I would hate to meet those in a dark alley at night, very serious pair of chucks, congrats!

Jean, im happy for you, this nunchaku looks so great and beauty
I wait a video you using it, maybe wc ?

Im sure is very good to have a nunchaku you can count on for long time without break easily.
With this connection, it 'll have a great durability beyond the great use.
Try to train on grass or dojo for dont let him ugly, hahaha: D
Thanks for sharing the pic  :2thumbsup:

Thanks so much guys!!! I`m getting used to the weight now  I got a question for you guys, I feel the U-swilvel a little like jiggleling moving too much like....if it was loose or something. Should I be worried about it or is it normal on the U-swivels?

My woodalls U-swivs also developed play rapidly, due to there being only two brass pins holding the cap on. Adding two more pins on the other side would stop the wobble, but also might weaken the wood. However, after time I have gotten used to the feel and it hasn't gotten any worse, so probably not an issue, but I still wish Woodalls would switch to a screw-type mount for mounting their swivels on.

If it is only the cap that has loosened, a simple fix would be to use electrical tape to reinforce the cap to the wood.  But if the rivet holding down the swivel is loose or damaged, it may require more effort to repair. Cutting the rivet and replacing it with an old style wood screw ( bolt ) may be an option.

Perhaps this link will be helpful:

The part that wiggles is the U part not the cap. Thanks guys  :-) One last thing, one of the U shape pieces is kinda opening up  :um: I havent hitted on anything hard so its kinda weird. I`m guessing with a hammer it`ll be back to normall but just wanna ask here just incase.

Yeah, if the rivet holding down the swivel is loose, I don't know of any way to adjust that on those new style caps.
Also, hitting the u shaped bracket with a hammer may damage it. Perhaps using a bench vice to slowly bend the piece back into shape will work better. Padding the vice with some leather or cardboard will help keep the u bracket from getting marred. Remember, bending the u bracket could result in the metal weakening ( developing cracks ), so go easy on it.

Alright bro thanks for the info  I think I`ll leave it as it is for now. Its not bothering me really but if it get worse I should do something. Other than that I`m getting used to the weight of the chucks so the vid will be up soon  :2thumbsup:  :respect:
