First time ive even attpemted to make chux.  Pvc, crap string(Made in like 15 min. gotta go to the store and get good cord.), tape :P

Made these at 3:45 am tonight, and these pics from 4 o clock, so sorry I look like sh*t, I should of wore my Gi.  They work great for practicing and cheaply made with random stuff I found at my house, pretty fast, smooth rolls and passes ect.

Yea theyre pretty good, except the small string stuff and the large open hole pinches skin on rolls.  And I made them because I needed better chux, my other pair were given to me by my now murdered cousin that he made from the 70's, and they still rock.  He was a highly decorated marine, guarded the tomb of the unkown and was a navy seal, he was a badass with them.  So I have to make him proud since he gave them to me.

cool. dont you find the handles a bit long though ?

iv made a similar pair using pvc tube and a shoelace and i find its difficult to perform a smooth continuous wristspin.

I measure my forearm to them and thats the size that works for me.  I redid the strings to braided rope and shortened the rope in between to about an inch for better 'performance'.

Thanks, I know of course not the best by far but theyre functional and fast.  But my master gave me a pair of lightweight exotic wood octagon chucks he made, they are amazing. :chuck:
