nice chux!! i have a diamond wood bokken and it is super tough, i have destroyed many oak and hickory boken with it and it is barely marked. on the down side i broke one clean in two in sparring with annother diamond wood bokken. so in my opinion diamond wood is VERY hard but if hit wrong is brittle and will shatter.
