A new DIY nunchaku from magazines.... Now you don't need to travel with your own nunchaku, you can make them anywhere (and once you do one, you will see that they are really solid, and will hurt you if you hit yourself by mistake  :omg:)

my mother used to hit me with those :lmfao: tying it together will make my childhood ever lasting trauma  :lmfao:

now I know how to build chux when I go somewhere else in the world  :2thumbsup: the only thing I may not provide is the drill.. maybe I should find a way to hole the magazine.. Now there's a reason to buy a porn magazine! XD

Anyways, that was a very genius work bro!!!!  :2thumbsup:    Those are legal ways to own a chux, only needs to be taped good so no sweat water can enter and degrade the magazine material.

Not a magazine. But magazine nunchucks would be both inflexible and decently weighted, making them just as risky to chance using in public as other materials. On a related note, I've been attacked with a "brick" a rolled and folded news paper before. It's a decent weapon, but suit yourself.

I have to make it one, and without the drill, of course.

how to tie it ?
so, I tie it over the nunchaku, at the bottom. not like jmvicuna's, tie at head of the nunchaku.

perhaps I need the camera to explain how it works ...  :doh

I just made some from some magazines my girlfriend had lying around. Covered them in duct tape. I'm surprised at how heavy they are, and the tape makes them a bit slippery. Also: I get a more solid version with a magazine that doesn't have a hard spine on it. The rope can't move around as much then.

You could definitely use it as a weapon if you had to..

I do it that way. Much easier and you need even less tools. I got these sitting in the back room at the grocery store I work at and no one cares cause they all know they are made from chrome duct tape and safeway news magazines and ribbon from the floral area.

Plus I have had the cops called on me for using these at a park with some friends and the cops where way more embarassed about it then I was. They just took one look and where like "wtf are you serious?" They actually went to the persons house who called them on me and lectured them about misusing the local law enforcers. So +1 for me.

As far as I can tell you cannot get into trouble with these. Plus they make a pair of decent chucks. If I would have thought of it earlier when I first started you can bet I would of been experementing with magazine chucks as opposed to pvc chucks.
