Hey everyone,

Wanted to update you all on where I’ve been.  Earlier in the year, I had an accident that fractured my Fibula (lower leg bone) and tore my ACL (anterior cruciate ligament).   To fully recover, I needed knee surgery.

Over the last 5 months, I’ve been recovering and doing extensive physical therapy.  I’m just now able to start practice and move about somewhat normally.   My doctor says that I can resume full practice in May, 2013.

In the meantime, I’m going to try to get together some footage for WC 2013.  I also want to start a tutorial series to get back in shape.

Let me know if there are any tutorials you would like me to cover.

Looking forward to a better 2013.

Old Mana

sorry to hear that :-( if its some comfort i did something similar a long time ago, during a soccergame i made a quick turn to the left, unfortunately my foot did not.
it was stuck in the floor so i ripped off everything in my left knee.  a couple of hard years after that but i had surgery and now it is ok.
hope you recover fast.

Thanks Renato!  Good advise, I'll keep up on the physical therapy.  It makes a big difference.

Thanks Spudde.  Yea, as you know, recovery is a long, slow process.  Glad to hear you fully recovered.

Thank you Galford.  I like your idea on doubles for beginners.  I have the perfect thing to cover the basics.  Give me a bit and I'll make it happen.

I feel for you, bro, physical therapy is painful shyt that seems never ending, stay strong and avoid the painkillers, they are very bad for you.

It is extremely good advice. The surgeon only does half of the repair. The physical therapy is the other half. When people don't do it, then they don't fully recover.

Then they blame the doctor.

Keep up with the PT. :thumb:
