I have the same feeling, I'll make a pair with the chian as soon as I have access to a metals shop. I'd have to fabricate a stable connect for the 3/4 conduit. I'd like to get some 1in so that this can be more secure, but its a bit expensive, I was lucky enough to find 10ft of 3/4in in the dumpster.

Would be nice to use cogwheels as chain, but you couldn't use it anymore then.

I don't anything to weigh the pair, but they are quite light. a little heavier than graphite nunchakus.
