hello everybody!
up until today, i wasn't aware of such a crowd of people interested in the art of nunchaku. :-o
anyway, i've been making and practicing nunchakus  by myself for only 2.5 years, and my focus has not been on the weapon aspect yet. basically, my motivation was rather meditative and artisic, as i like practicing my two fire-chucks in quiet solitude at night  :chuck:
do you guys practice in groups or by yourselves?

 :-)

well i suppose it is also nice to have others to share the fun with... but i don't usually enjoy being the center of attention, which happens easily when no other fire artists are around... and i don't know many other fire-activists...   :|

Same to me. But it's nice if people pass the street, stop and ask you questions
about what you are doing and where this art comes from.
Last time a grandpa with his grandson wanted to know the name of the item
(he didn't even know that it was a weapon) and how long I've been practicing.

It can be really funny sometimes, this is my balance for training alone all the time  :-D

i saw on your profile, that you were from germany... i lived there most my life as well and will move back from canada in less than two months... living in germany made me particularly coutious about nunchkus in public for all the stupid legal reasons... but when i get back maybe we can hook up and practice some stuff, if we don't end up living too far away of course
