Hey
Hey, my names Glen, i'm 15 and live in London, UK. I just bought a nun chaku and i'm interested in learning some cool moves, as a hobby and to kill some time. My nun chakus are foam coated with plastic shafts on a metal linking thingy (i'm no good with terminoligy, yet!). :chuck:

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Damn! one of my shafts just snapped, about 2 inches from the end! I only got them today! Can i glue them back together or something? I have Araldite...

I did karate in my younger years (about 8-9) but gave that up lol.

Hey man, welcome to the forum.

You can try and glue them, but they might break again at the same point...

Get some graphite chucks, they never break

I glued them, they broke a second after i held them lol. So me being the genius i am, took off the metal wrap oiff an aa battery has (with the metal wrap on it was too tight) and glued that in there as a strengthening rod (almost perfect fit). They seem to be holding out.

I'm guessing these graphite ones are just chux made from graphite, light weight and indestructible.

Take note of 'i was fat until about a year ago' :-P I'm not the thinnest of people but it's an improvment. :-P

I don't really know about all these chux so that last bit was a bit of a foreign language to me, but i'm intelligent (but very lazy) and shall take that as you want some string joined chux...

I hope i don't get bored... And it'll be a great skill to show off infront of people... like, so i can open a can of woop ass with some chux... (open a can with nun chakus, not open a can of woop ass on someone)

yay welcome to the place man I feel like i'm old or something (not telling you my age though   )
i'm glad that you have an interest in nunchaku but I hope you keep that interest because i know a bunch of people who start to use them and then just you know taper off and don't really do much with them again. I have high hopes for you.

Welcome to the forum mate! :) If you can't fix your foam chux go straight to wooden or graphite. Its better to learn with these kinds because they're real instead of practice chux and you learn quickly after hitting yourself a few times!

everybody is talking about these graphite chux, and I don't know what they are,can someone explain or put up a picture... :-)
