RECIEVED

Optimizing for tl:dr

Delivered 5 days
Century:

Oct. Foam (corded) - Really nice, it's not a sleeve on a tube so there is not gradual sliding down the shaft (i lol'd) and they have good weight makes it easy to swing them around while not breaking anything. These would probably be the choice pair for sparring since they do little more then sting when you get hit. Wristrolls are a little difficult and I suspect that's due to the width of the chuks near the string. Great product and I would suggest it to anyone who doesn't want to get hurt while learning the basics or while sparring.

White Waxwood (Ball Bearing) - Well compared to other ball bearings I've recieved lately these definatly look like they were put together correctly (not clicking and everything looks good). The weight is still fairly light but that does not sacrifice durability, these can take quite a beating before they look like my old pair (R.I.P.) so anything short of doing combat with rocks/bricks will have little effect. This would have to be the pair I would recommend for anyone who likes chain and wants a durable chuk for practice and moderate speed.

Overall I would say an  8.5/10 preformance from Centurymartialarts.com ordering was relativly breezeful although I could not get everything I wanted (ninja hoodie ;.; I'll come back for you) because their website has some errors but what I did get was well worth the price and came within their 7 day timeframe. They'll even throw in a catalog if you choose so.

Kungfudirect:

Wooden Pair Round (T-Swivel?) - Whoa. These are very clearly meant for hitting things, but that does not mean you cannot freestyle you must just do so a little slower. They are pretty heavy and have a chain length of 12 links (7 is standard). The connector on top is a...well it's like a loop on a stick with another loop going through it  :eeeh . The base itself is about twice as big as a normal chuk I guess that would be to compensate for it's weight, which is kinda high. The chuks themselves are 12" I believe and Tapered which is the only reason I still have a dog, window on my back door, my freedom, and knees. The taper makes it quite easy to hold on to and adds a nice pull when swinging. A nice thing I noticed yesterday is that due to it's looooong chain it's possible to do a one handed pass anywhere on the body. They do take some practice to get up to speed ( at least for me ) since where you'd normally grip a chuk ends up being the middle of the chain. I would nawt suggest these for anyone who is looking for a fast freestyle. However anyone looking for a combat pair or a challenge, these are the ones you want.

Kungfudirect.com gets a 9/10 from me for the great order-shipping time and the products came in little pouch-cases with a zipper at the top and loop at the top for...hanging on things....
