Just got the new style of chucks from Flowtoys.

I have to say... A+ man.  I am in loooove.  The caps are nice and tight.  I have new "alien glow tubes" and they are thicker and brighter than ever.  The chucks are slightly smaller than the first version.  The alien glow tubes come with a lifetime warranty, which is pretty sweet.  All of my complaints about the 1.0 have been fixed in 2.0.   Spinning them is only slightly louder because the rope is tied to the chuck (the first version, they were held with this soft plastic material that was beginning to wear away after months of hardcore spinning).  And the vibrance... :whahaa

These are my new favorite chucks.  All is fixed.  Of course, I still love the graphites...but uhhh...but it's going to be tough to beat something that can light up a room and leave little laser trails when you spin them (especially when taken w/digital camera).  i want to see what would happen if you spun these with a fog machine..hmmm!  Biggest plus is how awesome Sean (the maker of the flowchucks) is.  I haven't had such service, he's awesome and always took the time out to give me advice, repair the older chucks, and help me figure these things out.  Haven't had better service than with Flowtoys.  A+.

(I didn't spin this pic below...I'll post some up soon..but this is pretty rad.)

o_O Weird how I didn't see this post until this bump.

Wow, these sound really great. But it seems that the Flowtoys website hasn't been updated with them new Flowchucks? The page doesn't look any different, at least. I await more pictures.

By the way, their new "action pants" look incredible albeit really expensive.

Right on man..I'm actually getting some professional pictures done tonight, provided the weather holds over here.  A pro photographer wants me to spin some flow chucks while he takes snapshots...should be pretty cool.   :thumb:

I would be interested to see the picture before post-processing (& video)

Those flowchucks seem to make great colors, they are also 5 times more expensive than the chinese ones (used by 64warrior in his last vid).

Since I am about to order some glow chucks , I'd love to have as much informations as possible

Sure... I have some vids, but I've yet to capitalize on the best spins yet...here is a vid...it's kinda old...  I was playing with different speeds and spins...
I need to make a new one...  But you get the general idea.

THANKS ! They do look great !

I have a few questions if you dont mind me asking
- Do you have 2 or 4 flow lights on this one ?
- How long can you spin before the batteries run out ?
- Dont they easily break when they fall ?
Doubles are twice more fun !

I wonder if these fit inside the Flowchucks shell: http://rabbitlights.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=8

And soulwire, can you confirm whether the pictures on the Flowtoys site are accurate? It'd be cool to get some clear, home-grown pictures from you too of just the nunchaku. At the very least, they would be useful for the wiki.

Sure they look just like those pics, except, the new glowchuck design is very different.  They still have the old school design (with the old caps).  I prefer the new design...although I have had the string feel like it was slipping, so i actually replaced the rope (although it was nice & soft) with a thick shoestring.  Worked great actually heheh.

I'll have to take a pic of it.  They are just wide enough to where I think i could stick my thumb inside, if that helps.  Heh!

Hey your pretty good w/ those . i got 2 pair of them earlier this month and they are amazing very durable, and beautiful but there is a minute crack in one of mine only because it hit the corner of a table going really fast. these are my first nunchucks and i got them primarily for the rave scene.but the more i use them the more im tempted to get some real chucks.

Chucks in action...I believe it was taken with a lower speed, to enhance and bring out the trails.  Pretty cool!   :-)
