Jesus, dude, how long did it take you to make that stuff?  I thought it was a cool idea to pass time with, so I started making some mail out of 12 gauge solid core copper wire.  I just bought a bunch, stripped it, and used my drill to wrap it around a 3/8 inch bolt.  Japanese 6 in 1 looked the coolest and sturdiest, and now an hour into it I've only managed to make a patch about 4"x 2 1/2".  Looks super sweet, but I'm not sure I have this kind of patience.  Luckily I was only making it to see if I could connect some chucks with it, and see how they'd flow, but man.  Props to you for your inhuman dedication to such an incredibly tedious craft.

It takes quite some time, but you learn little tricks as you go along on howto speed it up.  I really like the Japanese, it looks real cool.  Did you check out Persian chainmail?  Its pretty cool to.  Its something I do when im not working on my Barracuda, or rebuilding my engine, or working, mechanic schoolwork etc. etc.  So yea I should have another suit by now but I have so much crap to do here lately.  I sold my last suit for 400 bucks.  The guy uses it is as his primary for viking shield wall reenactments that we participate in, and says it works wonderful, cause we use real  heavy high grade steel(blunted of course) weapons.  Im also about to learn bladesmithing(SOON I HOPE) from one of our buddies, hes an amazing swordsman aswell as sword craftsman.  But hopefully I can get those chux to turn out right, itll take a long while im sure.
