Been a long while since I posted a topic here, or at all for that matter

So for the past few months, on and off atleast I've been caught up with other things that aren't nunchaku. One of which was picking up on [desc=A manly way of saying "costuming" in my case]armor making[/desc].
During the process I've been working with resin.
[desc=In case you didn't know]Resin in most brands, is very toxic[/desc] and will [desc=also ruins nice shirts]burn the crap out of you[/desc] if made any contact with your [desc=and your eyes]skin[/desc][desc=and would probably rob you of your belongings].[/desc]This material, along with fiberglass [desc=cloth, whatever]matting[/desc] are used to repair boats so you know it's really strong stuff.
And, if I'm able to make [desc=paper replica of a Helghast respirator]this[/desc]

To [desc=paper replica of a Helghast respirator that has been poorly resined and not sanded so well but sure is sturdy]this[/desc]

Maybe, just maybe I'll be able to create fiberglass nunchaku?
How I think it can be done.
[desc=Can be passed since I could just roll up a piece of paper and viola, you got one third of a toy weapon]Step 0.[/desc] Have [desc=Step forward if interested]someone[/desc] create a cool 3D model of a stick.
[desc=Also can be skipped]Step 1.[/desc] Load the model onto Pepakura designer and [desc=learn]start[/desc] to unfold it for it to be possible be printed out.
[desc=This one too]Step 2.[/desc] Print out model and start cutting and gluing.
Step 3. Resin and fiberglass the mother.
Step 4. Clean it up and make a cast to create an exact duplicate if possible, if not ,repeat steps.
This project will become pretty expensive so don't expect completion any time soon. Or just don't expect it to get done at all so if in doesn't pull through, no hopes will be shattered, but man, if it does happen
