help making a nunchaku

im making a nunchaku but the pro chuck, with the really short cords, i just needed to know how short the cord is...

Jean, the cord is 1 inch long

Well technically the cord is 1 inch from the top of one chuck to the other, but the actual cord is longer because of the positioning of the tension pin is lower down into the chuck for balance.  Just something to think about if your making a PC replica.

youll prolly only feel an advantage if you get the real thing. any diy may come close but i doubt you can get the full prochux experience.
