I've seen their chucks on the forum, but has anyone ever bought any of the nunchaku cases off their site or know if they're any good?

Can't say I have but I stumbled across this website a couple months ago. For $50, if you are looking for some handcrafted Purpleheart chucks, that is a good price...

But other than that, the website seems a little bit pricey. I am not trying to be rude but $375 for sai is slightly outrageous in my opinion. Best of luck dealing with them! Tell me how it goes.

$375!!?? Maaaan you can get a PS3 plus a couple games for that much money. They must be in love with their Sai's. I'm skeptical to order their cases because they have the same generic picture up for all their cases so I'm not even sure what I would be getting. Maybe I'll have to take one for the team and give em a try.

If you like that design and don't mind breaking the bread, by all means go ahead and let us know how it turns out. But you can find other ways to produce a good nunchucks case.

You can fold up and sew a bandanna around your chucks or get some nice silk material and that. Then glue a zipper or snap button to the flap. If you are not good at sewing, then buy a 99 cent bandanna and take it to a tailor.

Or I just received my first case in the mail. It came with my nunchaku from swordsswords.com. They are pretty heavy with each leg made out of 3 sections, two steel sections on the ends and a hardwood section in the middle. They are all black and is connected by a noticeably sturdy chain. The only reason I purchased these chucks is the case that came with them. It's made of some thin knock-off leather, with a zipper to open and close, and a weak loop at the top (for what purpose, idk). I got the chucks and the case for just under $5 minus the shipping and handling. A little more economical then just the case for $20.  :thumb:

I was only interested in his nunchaku case that he has up there for $20. Can you vouch for the quality? I would at least like to see what one looks like.

Sure! Chucks are pretty good. A smooth ?t?swivel. Bag isn't amazing but it gets the job done. I keep my speedchucks in it.
