Hey everyone! I recently purchased 2 Ironwood Prochux from Master Lee Barden and I thought I should shoot a review of it and put it on Youtube. As far as I know, this is the only YT review of it, and it is kinda lengthy so I summed everything up in the description:
Like I said, it's pretty long, but I hope I did Prochux justice.

-Octagonal Ironwood so it's really strong. There are some MINOR chips from my own doing after VICIOUSLY releasing them into the ground or wall. This only shows how strong the wood is, but you can choose any wood you want.
-Mine are medium-light weight, but weight depends on the wood.
-1 inch string allows for very good control.
-Balance point on each stick where the string is attached to the wood. This allows for amazing control of the chuck, which allows for easy,
flowing movements. Also, because the string is attached to the balance point on both the sticks, it's like you're controlling the other end of the stick as well. This allows for
easy aerials and allows you to really emphasize flow, which was why the Penchaku was invented- to emphasize the Lissajous curve, and incorporate their flow into the martial arts of Lissajous-do-
Master craftsmanship. Master Lee Barden makes them by hand, to your specifications. There are NO abnormalities to my Prochux. The wood is beautifully made and crafted. No splinters, cracks, etc.Get them or do not get them?

Yes! Get them! The craftsmanship, the balance, the control makes for a VERY good chuck! The one inch string may be a turnoff to some, but
as a martial artist and a freestylist, it is VERY important to experience EVERYTHING and take what you like and incorporate it into something that is truly yours and unique- your style of freestyle.- Also get them so you can have a pair, even if you do not like them. Look at the Dolans Chuck. Mr. Dolan never passed on his secret to nunchaku making.
What if Master Lee Barden never passes down method of creating the Prochux? You do not want to regret never owning one.
My Ironwood Prochux. Very nice craftsmanship. No abnormalities, smooth wood. I actually smelt it too, and it smelled really nice and a little sweet actually.

Supreme balance allows for maximum control.

- I cannot saying anything bad about this the Prochux itself. Whether or not you think it will fit your style of freestyle is up to you, but the chuck itself is amazing.Get your Prochux here:
