Considering picking up some and wondering if anyone has given them a shot?

Mostly concerned with how the cord does with buzzsaws, and general durability :)

I've got the old ones, with the streetlights instead of flowlights, but the bodies are the same, so I can help you out there.

I really really like them, I mean a lot.  They're my favourite pair of 'chucks (just for practicing), been playing with them merrily for about a year and there's no sign of the chord giving way, they use good string.

The new ones look to be an improvement over the ones I've got, the lights are supposed to be more durable, which is a good thing, as the streetlights broke a lot.  The only reason I don't have a pair or two [of the new ones] myself is the price...

P.S. The visual effect of them is amazing, if you're anything like me you'll stand in darkened rooms for hours grinning like a loon if/when you first get them.

on the nunchaku list K did,  :fu: http://www.freestyleforum.net/index.php?topic=3189.0 :fu:
-ps. the rubber bits that hold the seemingly invincible string in place have ripped at one side for me, so it may break soon. Plus my lights have kinda died ish, they half work (i'm an idiot who throws them over 20ft up repeatedly failing to catch them though, they seem strong for ground level use - not even all of mine have broken. Also the fire ones look cack, get the water lights xD.)

Thanks for the input guys!!

I'm thinking about those new earth lights. Seem pretty snazzy.

Great feedback on the design. Very much appreciated! The price is definately one to make ya wince.

Hopefully I can squeeze the cash out to get some. :)

Did I read your review right? You can actually change out the flowlights on the inside? So you can just like buy one pair, and then some of the lights on their own to change out?

Correct, the lights just slide in and out of the tube, and you can fit two in each half of the 'chucks.

Irvmstr recommends them.  You can always check the Online Store Review thread to see if anyone has had experience with a particular product/company before you buy.   Its located here
