I've never seen anyone do that before. Should be good! Very very hard and heavy though I expect.

Its sounds nice in theory but all it would take is one drop and its over.  Much like acryllic it would shatter

It is dangerous to make a glass nunchaku.. even a fiber glass can cut your hand deep.

A good idea is you can make a glass nunchaku trophy from that.

glass is good for weapon decors.. + add some water falling effect and it would looks like a nunchaku version of Excalibur.. + some led lights then you can sell them already n_n

Even if they're massive and won't break easily, small pieces could break away.
Anyway, it would be nice to see them in action. Please make some photos and a small review.

That would be cool. Thanks a lot! :D

Unless you used hardened glass they wouldn't be practical to use - but I love the idea of glass nunchaku as a trophy - please have a go at making some and let us know how you get on  :thumb:

I saw one TV program who makes a glass work.. which is very difficult for untrained.. if you can make a glass trophy, you can make it a business to any king of sports competition..

but if i get a round piece of glass i can cut it in 2 pieces and drill it and try to buy some chain connection out of the netherlands to connect it and polllish it its not so hard the only hard thing is to find some rounded glass

  • hmmm...
    • its my facebook yo...
I have learned through using glass "tobacco" pipes that there is a way to have em so the glass doesn't break (at least not easily at all!) i went to a local head shop and one of the guys workin there took out a piece i was looking at and slammed it hard on the counter about five or six times and there was not a mark to show for it. i think a pair of chux made from that type of glass would be just fine for use on thick carpet, a mat, or grass.
(p.s. people would pay good money for em if they could be smoked out of as well as freestyled with  :thumb: )

has anyone ever considered making nunchucks out of Quartz. I hear that at the proper temperature becomes like glass only much harder
