I wish I could find out as well..mainly for restringing mine that I bought off of him.  I bought two pairs, and both work great - but one of them the cord can be pushed back further into the shaft (on one side of the pair) so when swinging it sometimes does that, then clicks against the pin when force pulls it again - which is a little annoying.

He might repair or replace them - you should ask him  :thumb:

Someone made some homemade pro-chux that looked perfect - I think it was Panda - try searching - they looked near identical - maybe ask him?

I'd be interested in how he fixes the string. But there is no way I am cutting into my beloved prochux to find out. Maybe when (if?) they ever break I will have a look, but they seem pretty well indestructable, I've hit a fair few things and barring a couple of small dents they are fine.

im just curious KVD is a D.I.Y. of your prochucks not allowed here because anything we make ourselves will never be up the the calibur that you make your chucks so it doesn't really make yours obsolete, on the contrary after using some that we make ourselves it would make us want the real things more. am i right?

there are videos posted on youtube that show his shop and how the octagon sticks are made (pretty cool machine)  As far as adding the cord and pinning them, you'd need a drill press imo, at least that is what I use.  It's much much cheaper to purchase them already made than it is to go out and purchase the tools needed to make them.  I like making stuff so I went out and purchased the tools ;)  I don't have any of Lee's chucks but I do have 4 pair of Roychux which i'm guessing are strung the same way.  I'm pretty sure I figured out how they are strung even w/o taking them apart, before anyone askes no I won't tell you as I don't want to hurt either Lee's or Roy's businesses.  I'm sure if you buy some you'll figure it out on your own.
