This is a fairly standard pair of Nunchaku, 12in heavy round wood and about 3-4in rope... However, I have recently found that this specific design is actually my favourite and perfect for my style of nunchaku...
The first thing you'll notice when you give these a swing is there incredible smooth finish, which makes catching the chucks seem a lot easier and more satisfying... You'll also notice that the chucks are quite heavy for 12in wood, and that the weight is very well distributed (the bottom of the chucks being much heavier). This weight combined with the smooth finish around the chucks result in an excellent flow and stability when trying to chuck either extremely fast or very slow...
Another thing to note about these is that due to there weight and shape, they dont seem to be very effected by wind... They perform beautiful spins when released for an aerial and always seem to land right where you want them... they also make an excellent noise when you strike really fast...
Another pro is that the cord is threaded 3 times, making it a bit more stable...
The one issue I had with mine, is that they used glue on the cord after threading it, making it much more difficult to adjust, but the cord is at a reasonable length anyway, and if the time came to make adjustments, it wouldnt be impossible.
If you're anything like me and love sticking a wrist spin in between every move and keeping a flow going for as long as possible without using a break... then I'm sure you'll appreciate this design for chucks... this one in particular cuz its totally black and just looks so bad ass!
These chucks are almost perfect in my opinion, thats why all in all I give em a 9/10.
