chinese nunchaku are very nice...wish I could order some....or at least build a pair just like them...any tuts on that...?...lolll

You need aluminium pipe and swivels like these http://cokupic.pl/i/c_big632470.jpg . If I'm not wrong these are the swivs that are used in chinese nunchakus. If you want I can send you via PM more info.
Sorry for my English.

I don't know what swivels they use. It reminded me a bit my connection when I saw photo of nunchaku from Silver Fire, but there was a stopper so I couldn't see everything. I use swivels like these on the photo from my earlier post and I don't have any problems with them, they can be used as a substitute. Homemade chucks won't be original chinese nunchakus, but homemade are cheaper and can be similar to original.
Sorry for my English.

true bro.
none of chinese nunchakus use Swivels or bearings or anything...they use what you see...a very simple and the most durable conection.

imagine a coin with a peg attached to it, chain through the peg. it's pure friction instead of ball bearings...

You're not wrong at all, as long as you can bend the ends of the pipe...

I just received the BL No. 5 with 350 gr.... they fell from heaven... :lmfao:

I am playing them now for a couple of days and only thing I can say is: OMG.... what a wonderful momentum, what a nice handling (metal is not as slippery as I thought   ) and perfect for the most moves....and some really came fast in my chucking....some of them I tried with lighter/other chux and I failed....NOW with BruceĀ“s help...I can do the most of them!

Def. not the last set of ChineseChux in my posession!!!

  • has anybody ever tried glowsticks ?
    • uTube sux meanwhile, but take your time to check out my channel :)

A couple of days ago, while throwing some heavy strikes, one of those keyrings got off the rails.
Now i use 2 keyrings on each handle instead. Looks and feels safer - i guess. I'll keep you up to date........

I'll keep you up to date. Or at least my lawyer
